Eres's Faro Bathing Suit, $500..Is it Really Worth it?

I know people say quality is everything, but I honestly don't think $500 should be spent on a bathing suit that I personally find hideous. I don't think the fiber used in this bathing is flattering to the model's body, the color combo isn't all that appeasing, and rather than looking like she's out to have fun, she looks like she's ready for a swimming competition. Most women who want to show off their bodies by sporting bikinis, not covering it up in a little girl's or grandma's suit. I'm also not too pleased with the bow being an extra trinket. Lets be honest, women who have the money to buy swimsuits of that price are usually the same ones who bust their bottoms in order to flaunt their great assets in the swimsuit. We don't want to hide what we've worked for. I know this bathing is scientifically durable, but no one cares about it being water, sun and sand proof. We are more concerned with how we look in it!

So I was bored and broke, but decided to go to the mall anyway because just trying on clothes make me happy!

Miley Ain't Half Bad, Lol!

Now, let first off say that I am totally not a Miley Cyrus fan, but when I went to Walmart today, I was surprised to see that some of the clothes from the Max Azira line weren't all that bad. I mean I have to give her her props, because when most people think of Walmart, the clothes are one of the last things they would actually buy. Yet, she's managed to turn that around (at least for the juniors poriton of the store) and put out clothes that the average stylish teen would wear. Also, she has them priced at numbers you can't beat, from UK inspired tanks and tees, priced around six dollars to shredded skinny jeans, priced around twenty dollars. Can someone say cute and inexpensive? I can honestly say that I will definitely be partaking in her daily sales and Cyrus, if you keep up the good work, who knows I may just buy up the whole market! Just kidding, but hey a shirt here and a pair of jeans there wouldn't hurt, lol!

Winter Must Haves

Okay, so I currently reside in College Station and though it's not as cold as New York, the point is the cold is rubbing me in the wrong way. So, of course, I've decided that I need to go shopping for the winter. The only problem is College Station only has one mall! I know, major fashion crisis and quite frankly, I don't want to look like everyone else who has the same type of fleece, plain-collar trenchcoat and boots. I'm looking to stand out and stay fashionable! So I must say these items are MY winter must haves.

No Fair! I can do better!

First off, I would like to say that I find it absolutely intolerable when celebrities feel like they can create clothing lines just because they're famous. Stick to your craft. If you're a singer sing, if you're an actor act, if you're a dancer dance. I don't think it's fair to those who actually have great designing abilities to be mocked by celebrities like Katie Holmes, Lindsay Lohan and Rachel Bilson. Having people draw up sketches for you, picking out the material and sewing those sketches doesn't make you a designer. A true designer, thinks, sketches, constructs, and sells they design by their original genius. Situations like those upset me because I'm an aspiring designer who's willing to work 100% to get to the top, not just have opportunities handed to me. Get the picture?
